The players have today off following their 10-3 win over Philadelphia on Sunday. Jim Zorn’s presser starts at 12:25 p.m.
A couple of items of note.
SEE RELATED:*The Redskins defense is now fourth in yards and points. They rank in the top 10 in nine categories: Yards/game, yards/play, rushing yards/game, yards per rush, passing yards/game, yards per completion, first downs/game, third down efficiency and points.
*The offense scored only 10 points but moved up a spot to 28th in the league. They haven’t scored three touchdowns in a game since Week 3 (Arizona).
*The Redskins’ offense is now 20th in yards. Their high water mark was sixth after five games.
*The defense didn’t rush more than five players on any of Donovan McNabb’s 48 drop backs.
*The Redskins have at least one takeaway in six of the last seven games. That followed a stretch where they had one in four games (although they went 3-1 during that stretch).
*The Redskins are now even for takeaway/giveaway (17 apiece). That’s good for tied for 16th in the league with New England and Atlanta. They were plus 6 after five games.
