Rather than signing a veteran lineman like Todd Wade to help fill the holes caused by the season-ending injury to left tackle Chris Samuels and the likely absence this week of right tackle Jon Jansen, the Redskins added a third unproven lineman in two days with the signing of D’Anthony Batiste. His claim to fame is four starts at guard for the awful 2007 Atlanta Falcons.
