— With only 1 percent of precincts reporting in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District, Republican challenger Keith Fimian was leading Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly, 51 percent to 41 percent.
SEE RELATED:— Rep. Eric Cantor was re-elected from Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, defeating Democratic challenger Rich Waugh. With 17 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Cantor had 58 percent of the vote, and Mr. Waugh 34 percent.
— Rep. Randy Forbes was re-elected from Virginia’s 4th Congressional District, defeating Democratic challenger Wynne LeGrow. With 15 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Forbes had 66 percent of the vote, and Ms. LeGrow 34 percent.
— Bob Goodlatte was re-elected from Virginia’s 6th Congressional District, defeating Democratic contender Jeffrey Vanke. With 9 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Goodlatte had 81 percent of the vote, and Mr. Vanke 11 percent.
— Rep. Bobby Scott was re-elected from Virginia’s 3rd Congressional District, defeating Republican challenger Chuck Smith. With 17 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Scott had 61 percent of the vote, and Mr. Smith 36 percent.
