Sophomore tailback Justus Pickett will likely start Saturday at Temple, coach Randy Edsall said.
Pickett rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in a 7-6 victory over William & Mary. Starter Albert Reid had 12 carries for 29 yards and also lost a fumble.

Pickett made one start last season —- against Boston College in a two-tailback formation —- while rushing for 274 yards and a touchdown. He entered camp as a backup but redshirt freshman Brandon Ross earned the starting nod during camp. However, a hamstring injury kept Ross out of Saturday’s opener.
It is uncertain if Ross will be back to face Temple.
