Maryland suspended freshman defensive back Alvin Hill for two weeks for a violation of university policy.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder appeared in Maryland’s season-opener against William & Mary but has not played since. With the return of several defensive backs from injury —- including safeties Matt Robinson and A.J. Hendy and cornerback Isaac Goins —- Hill fell off the depth chart last month.
