Maryland coach Randy Edsall anticipated junior linebacker Darin Drakeford returning from an ankle injury Saturday when the Terrapins meet Temple.
“Yeah, I do,” Edsall said. “He’s practiced both days this week. He’ll practice today. I feel very good that he’ll be ready to go.”

He then missed Saturday’s 37-31 loss to West Virginia. A team spokesman said shortly after kickoff Drakeford’s status for that game was “doubtful.”
In response to Drakeford’s absence, Maryland moved Demetrius Hartsfield to weak-side linebacker while redshirt freshman Lorne Goree made his first career start at middle linebacker.
