Navy defensive end Jabaree Tuani was named the independents co-defensive player of the week. Army defensive back Thomas Holloway shared the honor.

Tuani had four tackles (three for loss), including a sack, in the Midshipmen’s 24-17 victory at Southern Methodist.

Tuani is the second Navy defensive player to earn the honor this season. Linebacker Matt Warrick won it Sept. 12 after his performance against Western Kentucky.
