BALTIMORE —- Virginia midfielder Colin Briggs could play in Monday’s lacrosse title game after behind held out of Saturday’s 14-8 defeat of Denver for a “team matter.”
“Available tomorrow,” Virginia coach Dom Starsia said.
SEE RELATED:Briggs, who has 24 goals and 12 assists, played in the previous 16 games for the Cavaliers (12-5). He has eight starts after beginning the year on Virginia’s second midfield line.
Virginia started sophomore attackman Matt White in the midfield on Saturday to cope with Briggs’ absence.
