The Denver-Hopkins quarterfinal will feature a tournament-record 51 postseason victories between the two coaches entering the game. The previous highs were 48 in the 2008 Virginia-Syracuse semifinal (Starsia 27, Desko 21) and 47 in the 1998 Syracuse-Princeton semifinal (Roy Simmons Jr. 31, Tierney 16).
