Navy released its 2012 and 2013 football schedules Thursday.
(In an unrelated note, the SEC released its 2011 football schedule a day earlier —- and yes, that league has to worry about 12 teams rather than one).
SEE RELATED:In any case, Navy has opted to go the route of letting fans plan well in advance and simply tweak as needed in the next year or two rather than hold things close to the vest and release a schedule eight months before a season starts.
Anyway, neither schedule is littered with surprises:

TBA: Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco (if Navy wins six games)
