WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. —- The point of the game, last I checked was to outscore the opposition.
Which usually means stopping the opposition at some stage.
SEE RELATED:Maryland is really struggling with that facet, yielding 213 yards on 22 plays in the first quarter en route to a 21-7 deficit.
The Terps, meanwhile, have run 9 plays for 13 yards through their first possession of the second quarter.
There’s been a Caleb Porzel sighting, but that only led to a loss of three yards. Outside of a Torrey Smith kickoff return, nothing has gone well for Maryland.
Especially the defense.
