Providing the Vegas line from the Wynn sports book (for informational purposes only, of course) has become a bit of a tradition throughout the NCAA tournament.
And wouldn’t you know it, as I was getting ready to pack up my laptop for the night, this weekend’s lines landed in my e-mail box.
SEE RELATED:There wasn’t much of a decision left, especially when the hint some over/unders could be arriving tomorrow was included with this delivery.
(Without having any training in setting any lines, I’m going to guess the Duke-Syracuse over/under is 23 1/2 and the Virginia-Cornell over/under is 25 1/2. But that’s purely speculative).
Anyway, here are the lines for Saturday’s games:
Duke (pick ‘em) vs. Syracuse
Cornell (+2 1/2) vs. Virginia
And here’s a chart showing the season-opening, tournament-opening and current odds to win it all for the final four:
School | Start |
Start/NCAA | Current |
Virginia | 3-1 | 3-1 | 8-5 |
Syracuse | 4-1 | 9-2 | 11-5 |
Duke | 7-1 | 4-1 | 12-5 |
Cornell | 10-1 | 5-1 | 4-1 |
