Suddenly, some thought needs to be put into selecting the leader of the Delmarva/D.C. rankings.
Georgetown did not look good in either of its games this week, first losing at home to West Virginia (that can happen) before falling against previously-winless-in-the-Big-East Seton Hall (that doesn’t often happen).
SEE RELATED:Meanwhile, Virginia Tech poached victories at both Wake Forest and Miami, and with nine of the last 10 in the win column, the Hokies look like at-large material even if they only have three guys who can score with any regularity.
For now, the Hokies are 2-3 against the RPI top 50, 4-3 against the top 100 and 4-2 on the road. And, safely, the No. 2 team in the Delmarva/D.C. geographic area.
