Talk about a day with a ton of subplots.

One, there’s the obvious Maryland quarterback shuffle. In an amazing twist, that is drawing more attention than the shell shuffle during timeouts. So maybe we’ll get a Jordan Steffy update.

Two, there is a presser after Ralph’s presser to “formally announce its official outfitter for all 27 varsity sports.” Now, I haven’t been able to nail down all the details on this in advance, but I’d bet anyone a Chipotle burrito the name of the “outfitter” rhymes with “Blunder Farmer.”

The interesting angle there: Maryland basketball has been tied to Nike for seemingly forever. How that all works out should be interesting.

So plenty coming later on. As usual, there’s never a dull moment in College Park.
