CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. —- Here’s the injury update from New England.

There has been no sign of Darrius Heyward-Bey during warmups. A team spokesman just confirmed Heyward-Bey suffered a lower-leg injury last week against Florida State and will not play.

Linebacker Trey Covington, meanwhile, is dressed, and there isn’t an obvious extra LEO (Jeff Clement, for instance) up here).  So if Covington can’t go —- and it’s an iffy proposition —- it’ll be a whole lot of Derek Drummond.
