Contrary to coach Ralph Friedgen‘s opinion, he does get some write-ups in the paper. At least for one day, anyway.
Hey, he even squeezed two stories out of me. Granted, one was about how Maryland‘s attempts to grow its season-ticket base will probably wait another year, and the other discusses how the Terps again could be Team Anonymous (not that it’s such a bad thing). But last I checked, two is greater than none.
SEE RELATED:So spanning the ends and depths of Al Gore’s Invention, here’s a look at the rest of today’s headlines:
The Baltimore Sun’s Jeff Barker takes a look at Ralph’s motivational point system, which is in its second year of use.
The Washington Post’s Steve Yanda takes a look at the Terps’ in-flux quarterback position.
Ditto for the AP’s Dave Ginsburg.
To a lesser extent, so does the Frederick News-Post’s Greg Swatek.
As does the Baltimore Examiner’s Sean Welsh, who can see progress in progress all around the program.
(Hmm, do you detect a trend?)
Bob Parasaliti of the Hagerstown Herald-Mail writes about Maryland’s need for speed.
The Gazette’s Ted Black is attuned to Ralph’s worries about opening opponents Delaware and Middle Tennessee.
