The tarp has been taken off the infield, the grounds crew is squeegeeing hundreds of gallons of standing water into some drains in shallow right field and we’re supposed to resume play around 9:30 p.m. Cardinals will be leading 4-0 in the top of the fourth, with a man on second and nobody out.
Interesting to see whether Manny Acta lets Jesus Colome go back out to pitch after facing only one batter but sitting around for more than an hour. I would think Tony La Russa will remove starter Kyle Lohse, who has tossed three scoreless innings.
