Derek Sheely was a pride to his family, mother Kristen, father Ken and sister Keyton. Rather than sharing time with him these days, they are fighting to prevent other football players from his fate of dying from a brain injury. They commissioned Hershey Medical Center in State College, Pa., to study the circumstances around Derek's death and started a foundation bearing his name to raise concussion awareness.
